Icebreakers Uganda is a support Organization formed in 2004 that caters for LGBTI – Ugandans 18 years and over - who are 'coming out', as well as men and women who are already 'out, or having feelings of loneliness or isolation due to sexuality or sexual related orientation.  Icebreakers Uganda also educates men and women about their sexual health with regard to risky sexual behaviours with much emphasis on HIV/Aids and STIs in line with promoting their Human Rights. Icebreakers Uganda is a member of Sexual Minorities Uganda.  Icebreakers Uganda is also a self-help group. So, in many ways, what you get out of the organization is up to you. But there is a chance you might not enjoy your first meeting. You might find yourself not happy with the first meeting or meet a volunteer with whom you don't share interests, or you might have a bad day for some other reason. If you do, please persevere and give us another go. Remember the volunteers are there to help you feel at ease. Volunteers will be happy to chat to you, if necessary in strictest confidence, and can answer your questions, tell you about gay life, safer sex, what's going on in Kampala - Uganda, and also about other services offered by other LGBTI (gay) organizations in Uganda.  VISION  A Uganda of total justice devoid of discrimination based on sexual orientation and free of HIV/AIDS and its disastrous effects.  MISSION To support and raise the awareness of all gay people in Uganda about their human rights aspects in health, risky sexual behaviors with emphasis on HIV/AIDS. And to speak out for those who are being bulled, abused or hated because of  their sexual orientation.  OBJECTIVES
